vitamin c hair dye remover

I came up with this idea after I was checking out the ingredients in "colorfix", a popular color remover (http://www.haircolor-tips.com/one-n-only-colorf-46.html). One of the active ingredients is: Sodium Hydroxymethane Sulfinic Acid, which I believe is a reduction agent. It also used as a dechlorinator http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dechlorinator.

Vitamin C is also used as a dechlorinator and a popular ingredient in cosmetic preparation probably at smaller concentrations. Check out the pictures in this thread. Enough to convince me to try it to get rid of my dark dye parts.
